The daughter of a child sex slave becomes a super-powered vigilante who fights against a post-apocalyptic patriarchal corporatocracy

SYNOPSIS:

In a post-apocalyptic world, there exists a massive city-state controlled by a tyrannically patriarchal and misogynistic corporatocracy known as King’s Paradise. Every woman born under KP is either sold into sexual slavery or executed if deemed unsuitable. Caucasian women are selected and placed in vegetative states for breeding purposes. Any and all LGBT people in KP are identified and executed. They’re chief corporate practices are the selling of sex slaves and drugs. Their society follows a hierarchical class system based on ethnicity, with the White race as the ruling class. Any and all religious beliefs are completely outlawed. KP runs on geothermal energy sourced from an artificially constructed volcano, resulting in the desolation of the surrounding environment and the polluting of Earth’s atmosphere. Located in a vast network of tunnels below KP is the solar-powered Neo-Acre, home to a largely Abib’j population, Abib’j being a new religious movement following the Bahá’í prophetic tradition. Here lives Aisha, a girl born from an Arabic sex slave. Aisha’s mother tries to raise her in secret, but she was found out when Aisha turned nine years old. Her mother was then brutally raped and beaten to death in front of her, and Aisha was then subjected to horrific drug experiments before being left for dead. But she was found by Dr. Grant Anglo, who gave Aisha a formula he developed to purge all the toxins from her body. As a result of Dr. Anglo’s drug mixing with the drugs of KP, Aisha developed vastly accelerated healing, but as a consequence, her metabolism burns rapidly and she must consumed large amounts of food. When Aisha turns nineteen years old, she assumes the masked identity of The Scarlet Virgo, and proceeds to sneak up to KP every night to violently torture and kill the men who populate it. Only Dr. Anglo knows of her double life, and actively aids her. Aisha employs various elaborate weapons when going into action as The Scarlet Virgo, chief among them being her “bladed chain-whip,” a bullwhip separated into several segments, each one lined with small razor-sharp blades. She also employs a pair of push daggers, and a pair of push “drills” (push daggers with tiny electric drills in place of blades). Grace Quinn, a young women who was born and raised in Neo-Acre, decides to venture up into KP to teach the Abib’j Faith to its inhabitants, despite repeated warnings not to. Both of her parents went up to KP as missionaries some years ago when Grace was fifteen, and they never returned. She is soon attacked by a gang of enforcers, who recognize her as the child of the two missionaries that they tortured and killed some years ago. Grace is brutally beaten, but is then rescued by The Scarlet Virgo.

Before passing out from the preceding beating, Grace looks on in horror as her attackers are brutally mutilated to death by The Scarlet Virgo. Grace then wakes up in The Scarlet Virgo’s secret base back in Neo-Acre. Dr. Anglo medically tends to her, and explains his and Scarlet Virgo/Aisha’s backstory and modus operandi. Dr. Anglo reveals that he raised a family with a wife and two daughters in secret, but KP discovered them and forced him to rape his own daughters before torturing them into a vegetative state and using them as breeders. Grace disapproves of the violence and murder that Aisha commits, but realizes that Aisha’s traumatic past renders her almost impossible to convince otherwise. Meanwhile, we learn of the current CEO/“Eternal Emperor” of KP: Victor Azali. In particular, we learn of him through the eyes of his gentle and sensitive son David. Victor is emotionally and physically abusive towards David, due to David’s lack of traditionally masculine strength. The Scarlet Virgo suddenly breaks in and attacks Victor. But it’s revealed that Victor also has accelerated healing, as a result of the drugs that were first experimented on with Aisha. But unlike Aisha, Victor’s healing factor keeps him from ageing, making him functionally immortal, and he was also given superhuman strength. Victor overpowers Aisha and has her imprisoned. David is immediately smitten with The Scarlet Virgo and secretly helps her escape. Victor subsequently puts the word out about The Scarlet Virgo and puts a bounty on her head. Aisha continues to hunt down and kill the men of KP while eluding bounty hunters. During this time, Grace continues to live with Aisha and Dr. Mary Anglo, with Grace and Aisha starting to fall in love with each other. Aisha then discovers a group of bounty hunters who happen to be the same men who killed her mother. Aisha tracks them down in order to kill them, unaware that Grace is following her. Aisha attacks the bounty hunters, but Grace shows up to free their sex slaves and insists that Aisha help her. After emphasizing with the slaves because of her past, Aisha reluctantly agrees to help them, letting the bounty hunters escape alive. After bringing the freed women down to Neo-Acre, Aisha agrees to focus on freeing the slave women from KP. She allows Grace to help her, but still rebuffs Grace’s request that Aisha stop killing men, as she’s still unable to give up her desire for brutal retribution.

As Aisha and Grace continue to free women from KP (with Aisha still occasionally torturing and killing their cruel owners), Victor responds by increasing the bounty on her head and by beating and killing his slave women to let out his growing anger and frustration. David is inspired by The Scarlet Virgo’s new activities, and thus he frees his father’s personal sex slaves and takes them to Neo-Acre by secretly following Aisha and Grace. David joins in with Aisha and Grace’s vigilante activities, and the three of them eventually become mutual lovers. David also converts to the Abib’j Faith, and both he and Grace finally manage to convince Aisha to give up on her violent and murderous acts. Aisha realizes that her violent killings were just her ultimately ineffective way of dealing with her anger and trauma. But David’s new double life eventually arouses the suspicion of his father, who secretly plants a tracking device on David, which leads him and his enforcers directly to Neo-Acre. As this is going on, Aisha has once again found the men who killed her mother, and despite her promise to Grace and David, she goes after them alone and exacts her brutal revenge on them. With Aisha away, Victor and his men capture everyone in Neo-Acre, including Grace and David. Dr. Anglo flies into a rage and attacks Victor directly, but is mortally wounded. Aisha returns to find Neo-Acre razed, and then comes across the dying Dr. Anglo. After explaining what happened, he reveals that he managed to take Victor’s tracking module, which is still tracking David’s location. After Dr. Anglo dies, Aisha heads towards Victor’s secret stronghold, which turns out to be located within the geothermal energy plant, which is atop the artificially generated volcanoes.

Aisha sneaks into Victor’s power plant fortress, being careful not to alert the guards, and making sure that she doesn’t kill any of them when she does have to fight them. She frees several slaves along with all the surviving people of Neo-Acre, who were about to be executed by being dropped into the volcano. But she learns that Grace has already been taken away. Victor is about to throw Grace into the volcano whilst forcing David to watch. Aisha stops him just in time and begins to fight Victor. During the course of the fight, the equipment that keeps the volcano at bay is damaged, causing the volcano to start collapsing back into the Earth, taking Victor’s fortress with it. Victor eventually defeats Aisha by impaling her on several spears. But David manages to break free and fights his father, who just stabs David with a sword, mortally wounding him. Before breathing his last though, David manages to push Victor into the volcano just before it closes. Because of his fast healing and immortality, Victor will spend eternity having his flesh repeatedly burned away whilst trapped deep beneath the Earth’s crust. Aisha and Grace manage to escape the fortress before it collapses, taking David with them. After sharing a final moment with Grace and Aisha, David dies. With KP all but destroyed, Grace establishes herself as the new leader of Neo-Acre. Aisha meanwhile continues to maintain her secret identity as The Scarlet Virgo, fighting to protect the people of Neo-Acre. Aisha and Grace get married. Grace then artificially impregnates herself with David’s sperm, giving birth to a baby boy. Aisha and Grace name the boy Grant in honour of Dr. Anglo.
