Deenur- think you have half a logline here. Unless important to the story you don't need her name: A blind freshman [she's in school] tells her dad [she's a girl] that she wants to try out for the baseball team... That's the set-up. Who's going to stop her and how does she succeed [up ending] or fail [down ending]? It feels a little far-fetched to me – a blind girl swinging a bat among flying baseballs – I wouldn't want my grand kid on that field. Film is a visual media and telling her story from the girl's POV would be a lot of black screen. It might be more do-able and interesting from the father's POV. Just my thought.
