Daniel John Carey

I began the Screenwriting Tribe workshop in 2016. It quickly grew to several hundred members. We held the workshop in person before the pandemic. Two workshops every Sunday, each for up to 20 members.

I wrote the book "Screenwriting Tribe: Workshop Handbook for Writing and Polishing Film and TV Spec Scripts." The first edition was published in 2018. After film schools began using it as a text, I cam out with the 2nd edition in 2020. In 2024, I came out with a new version titled "Screenplay Repair Manual."

I've overhauled and polished scripts for indie film producers, and sometimes work one-on-one with writers to help them get their scripts ready for submission to the industry.
