I am now retired but worked for many years in theater, tv and films as a choreographer or director. Due to my interest in film, I am now writing screenplays for my own enjoyment. And of course, possible production.
I don't actually live in Madrid (that was the only option on the fill-form) but rather in a small mountain village about 2 hours north of Madrid called Majaelrayo. By small I mean population 35! You can see more on my webpage:
I am fluent in Spanish and have written one spec short in Spanish, a comedy about rural life involving an old woman, a cow, a court case and revenge.
My other projects include three additional spec scripts all set in Spain.
1) The story of a woman who abuses her husband, gives birth to an illegitimate son who she tries to dominate but eventually loses to a male lover.
2) During the 1970's military dictatorships of Argentina and Uruguay, the German wife of an SS officer posted to a diplomatic post in Buenos Aires has an ill-fated romance with a Uruguayan fisherman.
3) The painter/artist son of a rich landowner in western Spain takes on a young shepherd as his protege and tries to mold him into a young version of himself. The protege eventually falls in love with three different people and brings down disaster on them all.
I am an out-going gregarious person who like interchange with others. I am willing to share my experiences with anyone. And I've lived through a lot of them!
Unique traits: Aside from the above mentioned occupations, I am also a professional chef and former restaurant owner.
Bros Family “Bros” is based on a true story of two very different brothers who, through difficult challenges of deafness, alcoholism, homosexuality, Alzheimer’s disease and suicide, struggle to keep their family together.
