1944. When the Captain of an American garrison on a pacific island is found murdered during a typhoon it is up to the newly appointed and inexperienced Lieutenant to solve his murder and stop the rising tensions from escalating.

SYNOPSIS:

World War II. A small island in the Pacific houses a force of American soldiers and a small native village. While the island is struck by a typhoon, the villagers are evacuated to the army base. Later that night the commander of the small force is found dead and the radio smashed. Soldiers and villagers start blaming each other and it is up to the new, inexperienced commander to find the murderer and the reason why he was murdered all the while gaining the trust of both the islanders and his soldiers.
