SYNOPSIS:

Helgi is out for a walk with his son Benjamin on a cold and frosty morning, when Ben decides to make a splash by jumping on the ice-covered waterlogged grass. Unbeknownst to both, a hole has materialized underneath the ice and Ben nearly goes under. Later his father takes Ben, along with his wife Jane and their daughter Angelica to show them the hole, as Jane is skeptical, since there was never a hole there before and she wants to know what happened. Ben shows her and jumps in, but this time disappears under the ice. His father jumps in after him and disappears too. Angelica is upset and goes after her father. Jane who doesn't like swimming jumps in after them all. They come ashore in a dark and strange place albeit a strange new world, where they happen to meet an old sage and a maiden with long flowing hair, and their adventure begins.
