About Janalyn

Janalyn Li Steele is a screenwriter who loves dramedy hourlongs. She's currently a writers' assistant on Freeform's Good Trouble. Janalyn has won first place in Fresh Voices and Cinequest She has been a finalist for the CBS Writers Mentoring program twice. She completed the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting and wrote sketches for the CBS Diversity Showcase. Janalyn has written for Inland Empire Magazine and Earth's Daughters.
