Tabatha's world is turned upside down when she goes for an astrological reading on her forty-second birthday; a gift from her sister, Mo.

The reading takes place at Rockin' Gems, a Santa Monica crystal shop under threat of closing. Auntie Lil reveals to Tabatha that she has been ignoring her psychic gifts far too long and the Universe is turning up the volume. This is confirmed when Tabatha is unable to successfully make it though her workday without becoming ill. Vomiting on her client during a deposition, she realizes he is lying under oath; she 'knows that she knows.'

Tabatha returns to the shop looking for answers. While there, she encounters her deceased Grandmother! This confirms what she has been reluctant to accept; her abilities are now fully activated and there is no going back.

Mo and Yossarian, try to talk Tabatha into buying Rockin' Gems; Mo needs a job, while Yossarian wants desperately to home-school. He is tired of being treated like the anomaly that he is.
