A 15-year-old super-intelligent government asset is determined to stop those who would “reprogram” herself and other kids like her into modified killers.

SYNOPSIS:

In a small, rural suburb of Baltimore, Jillian Morgan evades a trio of killers. Just two days earlier, on her fifteenth birthday, she and her mentor, Dr. Jim Foster, counselor to the gifted children at the Defense Intelligence Agency’s ultra-secret “Einstein Project,” visit an art museum. At the same time, kidnappers assault their home, taking several of the children and murdering others. Three of Jillian’s closest friends, Michael, Andy and Trish escape and go into hiding. Forced to protect Foster at the museum, Jillian shoots an attacking kidnapper.

She and Foster escape and hide at a motel, pondering their course of action, as their worried administrators, Colonel Harlan Jones and Captain Tracy Broadmoor, search for them and the others. Foster provides Jillian with a disguise and advice on evading the killers, then sacrifices himself drawing them away. Jillian escapes and contacts her friends as the enemy “reprograms” the captured kids. Leader of the kidnappers, Col. Dr. Vernon Fitzhugh, a former “Einstein” founder, wants no killing of the children and argues with his superior, the program’s supposed benefactor, Jennifer Blaine, of Blaine Pharmaceuticals. Blaine deploys a former Army assassin, Angela, to drive Jillian in, killing an innocent girl in the process. Michael confronts Jones to learn the truth about the kidnappings/murders.

Blaine sends three “modified” kids, all former children at the “Einstein Project,” to find Jillian and the others. One subject dies and another becomes very sick, due to glitches from their “treatments.” Blaine has blind Trish kidnapped and promises to help her with her blindness in exchange for Trish’s help in bringing the others in. Blaine then allows Michael and Andy to free Trish. Seeking to save the damaged kids, Fitzhugh is killed by Angela as he meets with Jillian. Jillian attempts to flee, but is soon cornered by Angela in an alley. Immediately, Angela is struck by Broadmoor’s car and a fight ensues. Broadmoor leaves Angela beaten and bloody. While Michael, Andy and Trish, return to the Project, Jillian arrives at Blaine Pharmaceuticals to confront Blaine with an ultimatum.
