About Brian

I'm a director from Louisiana living in Los Angeles. My directorial debut LOST BAYOU, was chosen as a 2018 IFP Narrative Lab Project, as well as being awarded a grant from the Duplass Brothers. LOST BAYOU world premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, and has gone on to win numerous awards at festivals around the world. I'm a former cinematographer who was also awarded Best Cinematography at the 2014 New Orleans Film Festival for my work in Garrett Bradley’s feature BELOW DREAMS, which had its world premiere at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. I was also a cinematographer for Bradley’s award-winning film AMERICA, which had its world premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. My current directorial project “ANIMAL”, was recently chosen to participate in the 2019 Sundance Creative Producing Labs. I'm constantly developing scripts that have a strong sense of place and character.
