When a woman inherits a brothel from her estranged mother, she and her best friend decide to go into business for themselves despite not having a clue as to what they are getting in to. Balancing family life, cultural stigma, and the law, they discover what it takes to be successful.

Shannon has just been let go from her job and her husband, Mark, is just returning to the workforce after spending time in rehab. In addition to making sure their son, Aaron, is taken care of, Shannon is fighting the uncertainty of the future. When Shannon receives a phone call from a lawyer informing her that her estranged mother has left her an inheritance, she decides to investigate. What she finds out is more than she could have imagined when she discovers her inheritance is an old brothel. With her wild, best friend Janell, in tow, she begins to wonder about the possibilities of running her version of the business. Through all of this, she attempts to reconcile her feelings of abandonment from her mother, her struggle to keep her fragile relationship with her husband together, her son's future, and that little voice in the back of her mind telling her she can do anything.
