CRIMSON JUNGLE

CRIMSON JUNGLE
By Norman Welthagen

GENRE: Action, Adventure
LOGLINE:

When a rare albino gorilla is born in the Congo, an anti-poaching specialist races against time to prevent a maniacal warlord who plans to use it to finance his brutal civil war

SYNOPSIS:

The screenplay has been through several rewrites to reach its current state and I worked with screenwriting coach Tyler Mowbrey. The script was reviewed by Naomi Beaty from Write + Co and this is what she said:

SUMMARY: Overall this is a quick and entertaining read. The script and characters are

full of unique and interesting detail, but it never feels heavy handed or distracting. The

script takes genre expectations and common story elements and tells a new story through

a unique lens. The few notes above are meant to fine-tune what’s already there, shore up

the story and structure a bit (in the first third or so), and bring as much clarity to the story

and characters as possible so that everything can land as intended and with impact and

meaning.

The script also recieved a RECOMMEND from WeScreenplay
