UN-FAIRYTALE
By Jessica Payne Aka Jessica Pollack

GENRE: Musical, Comedy, Family
LOGLINE:

Four Fairytale Princesses and their four Prince Charmings know that they are in a story and desperate to change the plot before they have to kiss their pre-determined, but untrue love (UGH!)

SYNOPSIS:

We meet four well known fairy tale princesses. Three are already friends. Two are conspiring to make sure their designated Prince Charming actually comes through and releases them from their current sad existence. The problem is, they would love to escape their current situation without the burden of meeting and kissing some dumb prince. Sleeping Beauty (Buena Yasumi) can't sleep. She would love to get the kissing Prince Charming (Charmalot) part over so everyone else in the castle will wake up and she can have a normal life. Rapunzel (Rapp) is best friends with her Prince Charming (Charmster). She is rebellious, dyes her hair green and cuts it all off. She tries to convince Charmster to get the kiss part over so they can both go about their normal lives. Cinderella is a scientist. She is trying to find a scientific way out from under her evil Stepmother's spell especially if it means she doesn't have to kiss some dumb guy (Charmalicious). The three meet Amphibia who is desperately plotting to secretly kiss her designated Prince Charming (Charminator) so she can speak clearly again.

Tired of waiting for the princes, Rapunzel takes it upon herself to confront the Writer to change their stories so they can all be free to choose their own futures. This just manages to set everything into hyper speed. The Charmings make a pact to just get it over with, obey their parents and their stories, kiss their princess and live the maybe not so happily ever after that was pre-determined for them. The Princesses race home to be in place when the Charmings come by. One by one, the Charmings sort of kiss their Princess. They all trudge to the next Princess until all 4 couples are free, but are they? In fulfilling their written story, the Charmings and Princesses find common ground with one another, just not the pairing that was written for them. Each Princess finds the Charming of her dreams in one of the other Charmings.

In determining their own future, they truly do go on to live happily ever after.
