Conflicts, real-life situations and comedic moments invade the lives of eight adult nerds, who all reside in Cranford, New Jersey, and do their best to lend each other support before the day ends.
SYNOPSIS:
Steve Miller, a 40-year-old nerd, who is an accordion virtuoso and the president of S.N.A.P., which stands for the Society of Nerds Against Popularity, conducts the meeting behind his podium along with seven other nerds, who, like him, have nerdy personalities and enjoy nerdy activities.
His voiceover introduces his friends and their nerdy activities one by one. He introduces Laura Matthews, who is in her mid-40s, who is tall and is dressed in a librarian-type outfit and wears red-framed glasses. She is a bookworm and enjoys gaining knowledge on a variety of topics.
Next, Steve's voiceover introduces Shirley Dugan, who is in her mid-40s, who is a successful cosplayer, who has won multiple awards and is an avid Pokemon fan.
Next, he introduces Shea Mansfield, who is in her mid-40s, a shy nerdy girl who wears black-framed glasses. She is a big fan of "Weird" Al Yankovic and she has photos of him plastered all over the walls of her bedroom. Her dream is to meet him in person one day.
Next, Steve introduces Martha Mandell, 40, an African American female who is a big fan of the television series "The Big Bang Theory" and she thinks that the Leonard Hofstadter character is "a major hunk".
Next, Steve introduces Peter Anderson, who is in his mid-40s, an African American male, who wears black-framed glasses and knows a great deal about movies, television and etymology.
Next, Steve introduces Ralph Porter, an African American male who is in his mid-40s, dressed in the classic nerd attire and wears black-framed glasses. He is an amazing inventor (he invented a robot named DATA, which stands for Digital Analytical Technological Assistant) and he is quite the comic book enthusiast.
And finally, Steve introduces Paul Stone, a male nerd who is in his mid-40s, and who is known as the "resident storyteller of Cranford" and on every alternate Saturday, he and the other nerds get together in Paul's basement and they all listen to one of Paul's interesting stories he has made up. Steve thinks that Paul should become an author.
And as Steve's voiceover ends the introductions, he ends the meeting and wishes the viewers (who may be nerds, lol) well and tells them to "keep it nerdy".
And each webisode ends with a quote from a famous nerd, whether real or fictional.
