The Blair Witch Project meets The Evil Dead in this horrifying and demonic spin on a Native American legend. A history-obsessed father, his son, and two of his young friends pack their truck and head for upstate New York to hike the Huron trail in search of 18th-century artifacts. After unearthing some strange and troubling antiquities, including human bones, the group finds themselves hunted by the great and terrifying Hoo-Strah-Dooh, an ancient native warrior awakened by the disturbance of his remains.
The four friends are picked off one by one by Hoo-Strah-Dooh and the band of demonic native warriors he summons to do his bidding. In the pitch-black woods, the survivors band together in the hopes of making it through the night, but between the army of rotting corpses and the terrifying Hoo-Strah-Dooh himself, the odds could not be more stacked against them. A reoccurring dream may hold the key to sending the horrifying monster and his army back to the depths of hell, or it may be a prophetic vision of the dreamer’s grisly demise.
