SYNOPSIS:
Tolerance Is A 4-Letter Word is a short film about friendship & freedom. Billy is a straight conservative male who forms an unlikely friendship with an outgoing and flamboyant drag queen. She not only changes how he sees gays/trans/drag queens, but helps to bring him out of his shell. He has a passion for art, but has always been afraid to pursue it because of what his family & friends will think. He always believed drag queens/gays and transgender people were just attention seeking. That is until he sees & experiences first hand the verbal & non-verbal abuse & discrimination that Barb is subjected to daily. Only then does he begin to understand her courage and strength. And it gives him the strength to follow his passion. What begins as a curiosity turns to respect and admiration.

This doesn't go deep enough into the story, Ty. It's skimming the surface and you need to give the reader more in order to pique interest. Why do they come together? What are they planning to achieve in unison? What's stopping them attain their goal? There is currently no sense of conflict, no sense of antagonist or stakes. If you'd like some help with developing your logline, do message me and I can send you a help sheet I put together some time ago for my clients.
What kind of "shy conservative male" is he? An accountant? An engineer? A librarian?
Who's their antagonist and the inciting incident's interesting unique catalyst?
