Of course, he doesn't know that Max finally lands a date with Roxanne for a party thrown by the class valedictorian. Through the movie, Goofy tries to bring Max out of his shell, while Max resents being taken away, and lying to Roxanne about the trip (he tells her he & his dad will be appearing on TV at the PowerLine concert in LA). Television (Animation, Family and Fantasy) Art department The legendary video game Dragon's Lair was a blockbuster (and quarter guzzling) sensation when it first debuted, spawning sequels, imitators, and a beloved Saturday morning cartoon series. Developed by the powerhouse animation crew put together by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, the Dragon's Lair cartoon made many contributions to the Dragon's Lair saga, from naming the Dragon "Singe" to rounding out the cast with such memorable supporting players as Bertram the horse (voiced by animation legend Peter Cullen) and Timothy the squire (voiced by Michael Mish). Mimicking the action of a video game, Dragon's Lair pauses the action and asks the audience which action Dirk should take next in his never-ending quest to protect the kingdom of King Ethelred and his beloved Princess Daphne.

Turbo Teen (1984)
Television (Adventure, Animation and Science Fiction) Art department Teenager Brett Mathews ran off the road during a thunderstorm into a too secret government facility hitting a lazer infusing him with his sports car. When hot he would morph into a sports car and cold back into a boy. His two friends, and his dog together would solve mysteries.

Gallavants (1984)
Film (Animation, Family and Fantasy) Art department Gallavants are ants living in a their own fairy-tale land, Ganteville. The little ones have to go to school in preparation of their adult life as working ants. However, one pupil thinks he doesn't need to take lessons in order to find his destination in life. Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981 - 1983)
Television (Action, Animation, Comedy, Crime and 2 More) Art department In this series, Spider-Man forms a close friendship and alliance with two superheroes, Iceman and Firestar. Together, the group, informally known as "The Spider Friends", battle crime in New York City. Along the way, they not only face Spider-Man's own enemies, but also other major Marvel Comics villians like the Red Skull and Doctor Doom while also meeting other heroes of the Marvel Universe. G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (1983)

Joe Special Missions Force must contend with COBRA who, after a successful raid for a special broadcast satellite, now threatens the world with a revolutionary device called the MASS device which can snatch anything seemingly out of existence around the world as well as normal teleportation. GI Joe finds the original designer of the device who advises that the only way to counter that weapon is to build a MASS device of their own. However to do that, three rare catalytic elements are needed to power the device properly. The Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Puppy Hour (1982)
Television (Animation, Comedy and Mystery) Art department An updated, hour-long version of the classic Hannah-Barbera mystery cartoon. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo travel from town to town in their van, The Mystery Machine, solving cases of hauntings, monsters and unexplained occurrences. In this series, the gang is joined by Scooby's pint-sized nephew, Scrappy-Doo. Unlike his uncle, little Scrappy is constantly looking for a fight, and it is all Scooby and Shaggy can do to keep him from hurtling head-on into every ghost and monster they encounter. Heidi's Song (1982)
Film (Animation, Family and Musical) Animation department Orphaned Heidi is sent by her strict aunt to live with her reclusive grandfather in the Swiss Alps countryside. She likes it there and soon brings joy to her grandpa as well as everyone else there, including the animals. She also meets a nice sheepherder boy and befriends him. However, her aunt returns and takes her to the city to live as a servant girl to a cold rich strict family and their nice but sad handicapped daughter Klara. Heidi befriends Klara and finds fun ways to help her feel better, but Klara's strict parents punish Heidi for her actions which they see as childish and irresponsible. She is locked in a basement, where an evil rat lives. At that point, her friends from the countryside, as well as Klara, decide to rescue Heidi and help her go back to her grandpa.

Thundarr the Barbarian (1980 - 1981)

The moon is destroyed, and the Earth loses its ozone layer--causing the entire planet to be laid waste. Centuries later, Earth has become "a world of savagery, super-science, and sorcery," inhabited by various evildoers, scavengers, and magicians. However, the green orb wipes him out and corners the girl for its purposes. Claiming to embody ultimate evil, the malevolent sphere, known as the Loc-Nar, terrorizes the little girl by showing a series of bizarre and fantastic stories it has influenced. The first is "Harry Canyon", a cynical taxi driver in a squalid futuristic New York who finds himself involved with a damsel in distress who is relentlessly pursued by murderous thugs who desire the Loc-Nar her archaeologist father found. The second is "Den", which chronicles the adventures of a nerdish teenager who is thrown into the fantasy world of Neverwhere, where he is transformed into a studly naked muscle man, desired by beautiful women, who must get involved in a conflict revolving around possession of the Loc-Nar. The third is "Captain Sternn", where the title character is a handsome but irredeemable scoundrel who stands accused in a trial that Loc-Nar throws into... A startled Ralph is soon visited by aliens, who had decided to endow him with superhuman powers to fight the battle against injustice and crime. To this end, they gave him a special suit and an instruction manual. You're the Greatest, Charlie Brown (1979)
Television (Animation, Comedy, Drama, Family and 1 More) Animation department Signing up late for the Junior Olympics, Charlie Brown becomes a contender in the only available, and most demanding, event, the decathlon. With great difficulty, Charlie Brown, and later Marcie, train for the event. On the days of competition, the pair face the arrogant Freddy Fabulous and Snoopy as well as the "Masked Marvel." They successfully escape to Passamaquoddy, Maine, and live with Nora, a lighthouse keeper, and her father, Lampie. Elliott is sought for medicinal purposes by the corrupt Dr. Terminus. Searching for clues at Penny's home at Morningside Orphanage in New York City, the two mice discover that the girl has been kidnapped by the evil pawn shop owner Madame Medusa and her companion Mr. Snoops. On the back of Orville the albatross, Miss Bianca and Bernard travel to the terrifyingly gloomy Devil's Bayou where they learn the shocking truth: the innocent young girl is being forced down into a dangerous, dark underground pirate's cave where she must find the Devil's Eye, the world's largest diamond and Madame Medusa's greatest obsession. Adventures of the Gummi Bears
Television (Animation, Family and Fantasy) Art department Long ago, there was a thriving civilization of small humanoid bears called Gummi Bears. Possessing powerful magic and advanced technology, this race coexisted with humans until the growing rivalry forced the Gummies to flee across the sea, leaving only a small caretaker colony to prepare for a possible return. However, generations passed and the colony forgot their purpose even as human knowledge of the race faded into mere legend. All that changes when the colony meets a boy with a Gummi Bear medallion which unlocks the Great Book of Gummi which reveals lost knowledge of their past. Now the colony has dedicated themselves to the new goal to rediscover their heritage with the help of a few trusted humans while preventing new enemies like Duke Igthorn from exploiting that heritage to their own ends.
