About Aaron

Aaron Weisblatt grew up in a small town a couple hours north of NYC and attended NYU undergraduate film school. His first documentary won a Student Academy Award and was later nominated for an Oscar. He has produced award-winning docs and shorts, and his latest film, a feature documentary, was released in 2020 by Cinema Libre Studio. Over the course of 35 years he has worked professionally as an editor, sound editor, camera operator, director and producer.

As a writer, Aaron enjoys telling character driven stories with a comedic dry wit and sarcasm for an older demographic about underdogs on the fringe, striving for their dreams. He has recently signed with Bohemia Talent Group.

Current projects in development include a scripted television series based on Josh Russel's novel YELLOW JACK. His feature thriller HOUSE HUNTED was packaged with Buffalo 8.

He is writing both original television pilots and feature scripts and has written specs for three established television series and in 2021 a dramatic short script he wrote was awarded a 3rd place prize in the Philmco Homecoming Screenplay Competition and made it to the top 50 of Roadmap Writer’s Shorts Competition. His feature film writing has included rom-coms and bio-pics.

He is married and lives in Venice, California and they share their life with a very loud but lovable American Eskimo dog named Vanna White. He is an aviator and enjoys flying planes, even though it might get him killed.

The hand is then considered to be the "hand of the Virgin." Despite the church's fallen priest objecting, the ambitious mayor of the town creates an international three-ring circus of miracle-seekers, TV crews, and born-again local prostitutes all interested in the hand. En route to the wedding, one of the men asks to stop by a bank to pick up some cash. As it turns out, he is a wanted bank robber who uses Shakespeare passages during his robberies and thus has become known as "Hamlet". Soon all five men are caught up in the bank and involved in the robbery as they end up in a hostage situation. The hostage negotiator shows up who turns out to be Hamlet's father. Tin Cup (1996)

His foxy novice golf pupil, female psychiatrist Dr. Molly Griswold, turns out to be the new girlfriend of McAvoy's sarcastic one-time college golf partner, slick PGA superstar David Simms, who drops by to play into Roy's fatal flaw: the inability to resist a dare, all too often causing him to lose against lesser players, in this case gambling away his car. The Thin Blue Line (1988)
Film (Documentary, Crime, Drama and Mystery) Editorial department Errol Morris's unique documentary dramatically re-enacts the crime scene and investigation of a police officer's murder in Dallas, Texas. Briefly, a drifter (Randall Adams) ran out of gas and was picked up by a 16-year-old runaway (David Harris). Later that night, they drank some beer, smoked some marijuana, and went to the movies. Then, their stories diverged. Adams claimed that he left for his motel, where he was staying with his brother, and went to sleep. Harris, however, said that they were stopped by police late that night, and Adams suddenly shot the officer approaching their car. The film shows the audience the evidence gathered by the police, who were under extreme pressure to clear the case. It strongly makes a point that the circumstantial evidence was very flimsy.
