When Jim convinces Dwight that other companies pay their sales-people more money per sheet of paper, Dwight goes on strike, encouraging his fellow employees to join him until Michael shows solidarity and gives him a couple pennies more as a raise.
SYNOPSIS:
To motivate his employees, Michael pretends that his new loaner BMW is his new company-car provided by upper management because of the outstanding job he is doing as a manager. Jim manipulates Dwight into thinking he should be paid more for each piece of paper he sells. Dwight decides to go on strike and tries to encourage his other employees to join with him. When Michael returns one day in his old beater, Dwight assumes Michael is showing solidarity with the strikers, so Dwight ends the strike when he negotiates a raise of pennies for himself. And Michael never has to tell them about his loaner car.
