A CIA secretary goes on a date with an English man, who seems charming, but is actually a foreign agent, trying to extract critical information.

SYNOPSIS:

Laura Hall, a nervous, intelligent, CIA secretary is on a date with Matt Reeves, a suave banker. As the date progresses, Matt becomes more and more interested in Laura's job, as she gets drunker and reveals more information about the CIA to him; the only problem is, Matt is secretely a foreign agent and is recording the whole conversation.

Right in the middle of the date, Laura recieves a phonecall from her 'friend' and goes to the bathroom to answer it. Here it is revealed that Laura knows all about Matt's plan and she is actually a CIA agent herself, tasked with feeding Matt false information.

As Laura continues with her plan, both her and Matt get drunker and drunker, until Laura sees that Matt actually hates his job. As she shares empathy with Matt, he eventually cracks, revealing that he is recording the conversation. Before Laura can respond, the lights of the bar they're in go up, and Laura's boss walks out of a backroom to reveal the entire date was a test for Laura to see if she was ready to be an agent.
