About Sandra

I write about marginalized women, women in danger and 'dangerous' women. Brilliant women who’s stories don’t get told. Common women who find themselves in uncommon situations that transform them because life has come a calling. Asking them to be brave when they don't want to be, nor do they know how to be… And yet we watch the ordinary woman blossom into the extraordinary. Vulnerability, the very trait that had so many times ambushed them, becomes their magic bullet.

My stories or characters may horrify you, thrill and surprise you as well as inspire you, but they will never bore you. I relish taking on women stereotypes and I enjoy kicking over a sacred cow. Will there still be a judas hiding in the wings? Of course. Who doesn’t love to watch the underdog fight a worthy adversary. I give you plenty. Here are a few…

GROUNDLESS: The only ground to stand on is the ground you take. An attorney and plastic surgeon fake a death to save a life.Once these two women have tasted lawlessness they find it delicious . TV Episodic

Little Sugar: Pregnant in 1964, Grace finds herself in juvenile hall with no rights. Her baby is taken from her without her permission. On her quest to find her child, she discovers a history of silenced women from generations past. Silenced no more, she finds her voice and joins with others to speak out and change the world during the 60's and 70's in America.
