SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis A studious kid, a bookworm, the Bible quoting son of a preacher and younger brother of the flamboyant and dashing Karl, the one who always protected him on and off the football field against those high school bullies. But now they are men, the years of championship high school football gone. It’s World War II now and the two brothers are far apart until one gloomy day in 1944 the reality of war hits home when younger brother, Du, receives the news that his flamboyant and dashing protector, Karl, is killed an air combat over Italy. Now his hero is gone, gone…and in place there are new bullies who hate him because he’s a light-skinned well-educated Negro stationed at the most dangerous notorious naval yard in America, where nobody trusts anybody and people who talk too much mysteriously disappear. And once again Du is bullied……until he SNAPS!
