THE VEIL OF PIETY

THE VEIL OF PIETY
By Donald Shaw

GENRE: Crime
LOGLINE:

The Veil of Piety,  a true police case from 1990.  Three women faced an almost insurmountable battle to expose a medical doctor, a sexual predator cloaked in the veil of piety give physicians.  One failed two succeeded.

SYNOPSIS:

As the film Psycho's shower scene left an indelible memory for the viewer when later taking a shower in a motel, "The Veil" will give a woman or her significant other concern when a physician examines them. Seeing this you will feel it must be fiction but it is not.

Rich Goldstein

A personal thought about the title. When I read "Veil of Piety" I make an instant connection with clergy rather than physician due to the use of the word piety. This already upsets the expectation of what the story is about. Perhaps you can continue to explore titles. With that being said, the premise is a good one. Add a unique perspective and voice and you've really got something there.

Good job Donald. Like Pamela I am also very impressed by your service as a policeman. I think that is one of the world's toughest jobs. May I suggest - "Three women risk everything trying to expose a sexual predator veiled as a good and caring doctor" No offence.
