About Alvaro

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I've had a knack for writing since the 4th grade when I wrote a play about the life of Abraham Lincoln. My interest in Screenwriting really kicked off when I watched The Social Network. The writing in that movie really opened me up to exploring screenwriting more and when I watched Clerks my desire to direct was born. They're vastly different films, but each of them ignited my passion for filmmaking. This led me to the New York Film Academy where I received a Masters degree in Filmmaking. Currently I'm working on a slew of projects in feature films and television.
