Synopsis
(feature film, based on personal life events)
Out of the blue, Dolores (DeeDee) - a young career-driven, self-neglecting and stressed-out woman, is hit with a life-altering illness (IC). She runs into an ex-rival colleague (Delilah) that she'd sworn off years ago, when she, out of pity for her, tried to set-up DeeDee with her soon to be (and likewise pitiful) ex-husband after having a torrid affair with a mutual friend/gigolo-fuck buddy (that bottomed, unbeknownst to DeeDee). Delilah, having had the same illness after her break-up, saves Dolores from the needless and intrusive procedures, drugs and treatments that she experienced. DeeDee's oppressive, co-dependent mother blames the illness on her daughter, since she's moved out of the family house and "abandoned" her, strayed from the "faith" and fornicated. Which is so far left of field that it's unsatna-vigable, as DeeDee and De-Lite through extensive investigation find out. There's no hope for DeeDee and her mother, but the D's work it all out.
