SYNOPSIS:

George Sumter’s political life is at its pinnacle. Backed by old money and a legacy of conservative values, he’s in the midst of an unstoppable run toward the White House. The Sumters’ were built for this inevitability.

You can’t outrun your secrets…

His political rival, Darius Harwood, unearths a devastating truth—one that could unravel the lie the Sumter family has been living for generations. Finally, Harwood has the cudgel to bring down Sumter and the party he represents.

Family over privilege and ambition…

Faced with the unthinkable, George must weigh the cost of protecting his family against the ambitions that have defined his life.
