SYNOPSIS:

The Bicycle - "Family is no ride in the park!"

The Bicycle is a short format feature film (65pg) written for OTT digital media in the Comedy genre. The film follows the journey of one father’s very rough day which dissolves his delusion that having a teenage daughter does not require his input beyond his role of providing for his family.

The film will be a low budget production with a small cast centralised around a family of three. The Bicycle is to be shot in a single city/town with a large part following the lead character’s ride from his city office to his family home. The story will capture the hilarious moments of his journey while building viewer compassion for him as his hearts intent wins the day.

The Bicycle requires no special effects and minimal stunt work primarily involving a professional bicycle rider. The central cast includes a small family consisting of a Father (lead), Mother and Daughter. Secondary cast members include the lead characters two office co-workers and several minor part extras.
