What if Superman and Lex Luthor were both friends and enemies? We’ve got Commander Champion on one hand, superhero and overall nice guy. Then we’ve got Doctor Harm, a revenge-driven genius and unknown enemy to our hero. Now let’s make them writing partners. An antagonistic relationship at its best. The Odd Couple on steroids. A superhero sitcom with big screen action on the side.

Pitch

Leonard’s a struggling writer. Despite encouragement from his policewoman girlfriend, Drew, his low output leads him to finding a partner, Swayze. It’s a rocky relationship at the start, but it soon hits its stride. They could be on their way to selling their first screenplay except for one thing: a possible antagonism between Leonard’s true identity as superhero Commander Champion and Swayze’s alter-ego, Doctor Harm, who works alongside villainess Crimson Dahlia to create a gas capable of destroying Leonard’s powers.

It’s soon revealed that Harm’s hatred comes from an accident caused by Champion which led to the death of his wife. However, what he doesn’t know is he’s got the wrong guy. Leonard inherited the cape from the previous Champion who died following said accident. Their work together leads to a script that’s on the fast track for production. But Dahlia’s grown frustrated at Harm’s lack of focus; she wants that gas done.

Dahlia discovers that Champion’s accident was actually caused by Swayze, his experiment causing Champion to crash into the lab, accidentally killing Harm’s wife. Drew discovers this as well, but is unable to stop Dahlia using the experiment to remove Champion’s powers. Swayze’s arrested, but he and Leonard have bigger fish to fry when Dahlia wreaks havoc throughout the city. But with no Commander Champion, what exactly do they plan to do?
