Wendy spent her early adult years a policewoman gaining a variety
of life experience on the streets, including undercover work, dealing
with a wide range of humanity from major criminals to domestic
violence and yes she carried a Smith & Wesson ’38.
Later a successful real estate career in her native city Melbourne,
Australia. Also instilled in her a strong work ethic, tenacity, and life
skills which led her to flourish in the business arena. While having
continued success in the business world, Wendy followed her creative
endeavors to fruition, moving to Los Angeles, not knowing anyone
and began her journey as a talented actress and producer. Wendy has
always sought out the best in their field for training and collaboration,
including to name a few, Peter Sardi - Melbourne, The Royal Academy
of Dramatic Art - London, Intensive Shakespeare, Uta Hagen/Austin
Pendleton - New York, Ivana Chubbuck , Bobby Chance ,Daisy White,
Katt Shea - Los Angeles. Wendy had the honor of performing
alongside Academy Award nominees, Kristin Scott Thomas , Ralph
Fiennes and produced theater with Broadway credited directors.
Wendy’s first film, ”Big Bully Bank" which she wrote, produced and
starred in, smashed the festival circuit, picking up several awards
including "Best Comedy Scene" - AOF International Film Festival. Best
Cinematography - AIF Festival and was invited to screen at The
Occupy Sundance Film Festival.
Wendy is determined to encourage women on their own journey of
self discovery and is particularly passionate about uplifting and
empowering women through her craft and experience. Wendy brings
people together from different cultures and backgrounds to make
projects a success.
Wendy has a number of projects in development and recently
released her memoir, “Sex, Love & Cops”, which is available on
Amazon and select book stores and plans to develop it into a series.
Wendy resides in Hollywood, California, is a member of Australians in
Film, Women in Film, Women in Media, SAG/AFTRA, Actors Equity.
