Dylan, a nerdy college student, becomes a ladies' man when he starts taking a black market male enhancement drug. Unfortunately for Dylan, the drug turns men into drooling, violent ape monsters. And he's already addicted.

SYNOPSIS:

DYLAN is an English major who’s floundering in Los Angeles. He’s overwhelmed by the city, his job, and the dating scene. The only person who brightens his day is AUDREY, the cute biology major who just moved in down the hall. When his rent gets raised, Dylan has no choice but to bring in a roommate, the appropriately named ROD, a chemistry student. He’s handsome, charming, and athletic. He’s everything that Dylan is not.

Just after Rod moves in, the boys see their streets turn deadly, as beautiful young women are found murdered in the area. A disgruntled but determined cop, DETECTIVE ROYCE, takes the case and immediately has a funny feeling about Rod.

One night, after a bad party experience leaves Dylan feeling particularly emasculated, Rod reveals to him an incredible secret: He too used to be out of shape, insecure and awkward. That was until he developed an advanced male enhancement drug that made him the Rod he is today. Rod promises Dylan that he can have all he wants, and all he has to do is help produce and sell the drug. Lured by the prospect of looking like a Charles Atlas ad, Dylan hesitantly agrees.

He soon discovers the drug is working and enhancing every party of him. It makes him stronger, smarter, more confident, and better endowed. He now has the confidence to ask out Audrey. Their relationship blooms and starts to develop into something special. Despite their obvious chemistry, things become difficult as Dylan’s side effects include intense body hair, occasional claws, and uncontrollable bursts of rage. Needless to say, they can make things a little awkward.

Meanwhile, Rod’s long time usage has him struggling with an addiction to the pills, as well as the physical changes and deviant desires that come along with it. He has begun to lust after Audrey, the only woman he can’t have. His testosterone driven anger drives him to seduce and attack several women, proving that he was the predator all along. Detective Royce starts putting the pieces of the crimes together, and the noose tightens around Rod.

Thrown into a rage, Rod overdoses on the drug, turning him into a hulking, ape-like monster. Overtaken by his obsession with Audrey, he kidnaps her, dragging her to the secret lab where he and Dylan had been creating the pills.

Determined to make things right, Dylan teams up with Detective Royce to take down the monster in a battle that reveals a shocking transformation for Rod that will ultimately destroy him.
