Three friends struggle to keep their tragic lives secret while trying to reconnect at their high school reunion.

SYNOPSIS:

Three ladies reunite after 20 years for their school reunion. NIKKI, a plastic surgeon’s dream patient, JEN, a recovering alcoholic, and

KATE, slightly overweight and rundown by life in general, share a room, and a fond memory of their time together as teenagers.

But they soon discover that in the years apart, things have happened to change all of them, and the old familiarity is not so easy to revive.

Jealousy, insecurity and negativity causes them to hurtful things to each other, and change alliances, which soon has them wondering if this was such a good idea.

At the night of the reunion, they discover that some things from their past and still the same, while other have changed drastically. Old boyfriends, and estranged friends, bring back painful memories and revives hurts that were never dealt with.

Nikki, who believes she is absolutely gorgeous with her newly shaped body, and made over looks, is confronted by her first love from school days, Leo, and is amazed that he misses the younger untouched beauty he knew her as. It is revealed that he never found love again, and although he tries to hide it, he is clearly still hung up on what he believed would be his lifetime relationship.

Jen soon turns to alcohol again, and men, to avoid the conflict and any conversations of value. She soon loses control and makes a spectacle of herself. She does the unthinkable and flirts with Leo, which drives a bigger wedge between her and Nikki.

Kate, who used to be the “most likely to succeed”, is now trying to blend in to the furniture, unnoticed, until she is called upon to make a speech. Unable to tell the truth of her life, she spins a story to impress the audience, but leaves Nikki and Jen confused.

As things get out of control with Jen, Nikki and Kate try to stop her, but give up hope and it is left to Leo to pick up the pieces.

Just when it seems the old friends will never recover from their current lives, Nikki finds out about Kate’s real secret, that she is extremely ill.

This get Nikki and Jen to forget about their own problems and focus on getting Kate to hospital in time for the surgery she is trying to avoid.

They recruit the help of Leo to drive them to Kate’s with the hope of convincing her that they are not going to give up on her and that their friendship is more important than the petty bickering that has been driving them apart.
