SYNOPSIS:
Puckheads is a comedic-drama based on the actual life experiences of professional hockey players, coaches, and executives. The series focuses on the life of Paul Brooks, a retired player, who is now an assistant coach on his former team after a devastating knee injury ended his career prematurely. The series examines how players, coaches, and their families survive the brutal power and political struggles within a professional hockey team while enjoying a life very few get to experience. Current, former, and Hall of Fame NHL players, coaches, and executives have agreed to participate in various capacities from cameo appearances to promotion including Pat Lafontaine, Wayne Cashman, Phil Esposito, Clint Malarchuck, Luc Robataille, and additional current players based on timing and scheduling of production.
