Writing is my life, and I've been told I'm superlative at it. Cinema to me is an art form with the power to change lives, if not history. I write to start discussions, not end them, and I play down to no audience. I'm into serious, adult-minded dramas, unafraid to experiment, that offer new perspectives on provocative themes, challenge easy assumptions, and confront the issues of our times head-on. If you're not into subtitled films, we're not going to get along. I do my utmost to assure that my name is a mark of quality. To make it big without compromising my integrity as an artist is my ultimate aim.

For the past few years, in addition to several story ideas in the oven, I've had a screenplay on and off the front burner. It's a women-centric neo-noir set in the crime-ridden Boston on the mid-'80s, with themes of drugs, sex, race, autism, sociopolitical ethics, and personal autonomy. The risks I've taken with it are daunting, but after numerous drafts, it is finally ready to be seen by the filmmaking public, and I look forward to getting it on some desks in Hollywood.
