SYNOPSIS:
When a horrific night time accident results in a traffic jam in the Appalachian Mountains one family’s vacation turns nightmare. Stuck with nowhere to go and no cell phone service a group of highway neighbors become casual acquaintances, until the Miller's daughter, Melanie, sneaks off to the nearby woods for a quick toke and gets snatched by a monster called the Dwayyo. A makeshift search party is formed but the hapless posse doesn’t get far before stumbling upon a recluse mountain man Grover Beaumont, long time hunter of the Dwayyo. But this isn’t your run of the mill monster. The Dwayyo’s formed a discerning taste for human flesh, mainly misogynistic men; keeping women as its trophies. As Mel fights to free herself from the Dwayyo’s lair a rumble soon erupts and the makeshift posse gets more than they bargained for, but little do they know there are others lurking among them more frightening than the beasts of storied lore.
