After the death of her husband, an art-restorer, living in self-imposed exile in Venice, Italy, opens her heart to a famous concert violinist while researching a mysterious painting he owns, only to find that both have dark secrets.
SYNOPSIS:
Chiara Colton has a quiet job restoring paintings in Venice, Italy, where she exiled herself after the death of her husband. An awkward run-in with Joseph Edwards, an internationally renowned, bad-boy, concert violinist, brings unexpected complications. Joseph wants to get to know her and uses everything from a floating orchestra serenade to a blue-grass band in St. Mark’s Square to get her attention. But it is his mysterious portrait of composer Antonio Vivaldi that most intrigues Chiara.
As Joseph’s preparations for an upcoming concert make him increasingly unstable, Chiara learns that the Vivaldi portrait may also be hiding secrets.
