SYNOPSIS:

XPLODE follows Smilez, a charismatic dreamer whose life takes a turn after a summer heartbreak. Restless and unsure of his future, he reunites with his childhood friend Xavier, who offers him a chance to start fresh in Atlanta working at his father’s nightclub, Fantasy Gems.

Once in the city, Smilez gets caught in a swirl of temptation, power, and danger. The glamorous nightlife hides a sinister reality controlled by Fat Cat, a ruthless crime lord whose empire stretches from the streets to secret scientific experiments in his basement. During one fateful night, Smilez witnesses a woman being hunted by Fat Cat’s men — and his decision to help her sets off a chain of events that changes everything.

Captured and left for dead, Smilez is used as an unwilling test subject in a secret experiment linked to an otherworldly entity named Gorkeyon. Instead of dying, he awakens—reborn, glowing, and bonded with alien energy that grants him unimaginable power. Guided by Gorkeyon’s cryptic messages and a mysterious mentor named Sar Deko, Smilez learns he’s part of a much larger war between mankind and a hidden alien dominion controlling Earth’s underbelly.
