PROPAGATING LOVE
By Zane Hampton

GENRE: Romance, Comedy
LOGLINE:

When a happily married couple move their life out of Hollywood, they discover they are somehow multiplying their own clones after one passionate night of lovemaking, and can't figure out how to make it stop.

SYNOPSIS:

Adam and Aliyah fell in love over an argument three weeks into their relationship and ever since have been best friends. With Aliyah’s exploding fame and Adam’s “I dance for the love of it not the fanbase” , the two decide to move out of the city and away from the craziness. In doing this the world judges and is convinced they’re having “marital problems” which they keep denying, but one of Aliyah’s Japanese Culinary Chef friends offers them a jellyfish dish that will “reignite that spark”. Upon their arrival to Oregon, they eat the dish thinking “what the hell” and make vicious fantastic love after consuming the tasteful aphrodisiac.

The next morning the two wake up smiling, and suddenly are beside two versions of themself. Panicked on both sides, the two versions spend the next few days trying to figure out what to do. The problem is, the other couple keeps having sex, and the multplying of personalities keeps growing. Every dark secret, every affectionate side, and every internal feeling is suddenly being promoted in a singular person that just can’t stop making more. Thinking of how this started, Aliyah remembers the jellyfish and calls the chef only to find out from his nephew that he died of a heart attack three days ago. It's only a matter of time before Aliyah and Adam are visited by a Variety journalist who is wondering why Aliyah is posting so many controversial things on her social media, and it's then that she realizes she’s missing her phone, her computer, and her tablet to three different versions.

It doesn’t take long for the personalities to escape into the world and as some are hired and some are arrested Adam and Aliyah have no choice but to come out publicly. They keep to themselves as far as the jellyfish goes and declare “they don’t know how it happened” and both go viral as people can’t get enough of the different versions now spreading all over the world. The ones that stay together (as far as a couple) keep multiplying, and the ones that don’t can’t make anymore and just find new partners. In the end Adam and Aliyah are forced to accept it, and decide its best to use protection from now on.
