With America in the depths of the cold war and on the forefront of the space race, a tired Dr. Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones is informed of a UFO crash near Kecksburg Pennsylvania, which holds the secrets to the rise of the Nazi regime.
SYNOPSIS:
It’s December 1965 and the Christmas season is upon us. A tired Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones is visiting his son Mutt in Pittsburgh, PA and reads the headline in the paper “Unidentified Flying Object falls near Kecksburg - Army Ropes off Area.” When witnesses describe the object as “bell shaped”, Indy believes it to be the Die Glocke, aka “The Bell”, which holds secrets to anti-gravity propulsion systems used by the Nazi secret space program during WWII.
While visiting his friend and WHJB news Director John Murphy, Indiana is shown a photograph of the Egyptian hieroglyph symbols on the Die Glocke. Indiana’s mind is immediately thrust back to the war in Der Riese, 1944, near the Czech border aka “The Henge.” While searching for ancient artifacts and Wunderwaffe weapons, Indiana witnesses the death of five Nazi scientists experimenting with the Nazi Bell, while SS. General Hans Kammler head of Third Reich secret projects, escapes near death Xerum 525 radiation.
Now, with America in the depths of the cold war, and on the forefront of the space race, NASA debunks the Kecksburg incident as nothing more than a meteorite. Indiana, curious to uncover the truth about the crash and the connection to Nazi war criminal Hans Kammler, who he speculates time traveled twenty years in the Die Glocke, to gain Nazi military control in the United States.
After hearing of his friend Murphy’s photographs being seized, and his radio documentary “Object in the Woods” heavily edited by “government officials”, Indiana becomes fearful for his friends life, and suspicious of the U.S. ARMY’s intentions.
With Indiana growing wary of Operation PAPERCLIP, which brought roughly 1,600 German scientists to the United states after WWII in an effort to help develop America’s arsenal of rockets and other biological weapons. He can’t help but think former Nazi V-2 rocket architect Wernher von Braun, now director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL is somehow involved.
Soon, Indiana and his son Mutt embark on a mission to disrupt the NASA space program to uncover its underlying intentions with former SS agents at the helm. Once Mutt intercepts and decodes a message connecting Kammler to Rudolph Schriever, a former Nazi aeronautics engineer now working transportation for the U.S. Army, the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) becomes engaged to help.
Von Braun, anxious to clear any connection to Schriever, finds a virus in the guidance system exposing hidden coordinate changes to Washington DC, delaying the launch of Apollo AS-203. Hot on the trail of their suspect Schriever, Indy and Mutt must help von Braun weed out the culprits and force Kammler to surface and surrender the secrets of the Die Glocke.
After the CIA seizes intel and transportation logs from the U.S. Army, confirming Schriever and other PAPERCLIP members traveled to Kecksburg hours after the UFO crash, Operation GUNSLINGER exposes the KKK and other white nationalist hate groups along with 508 PAPERCLIP members in a coup to overtake Washington DC. With Kammler on the run and back on the FBI’s most wanted list, Indiana becomes extremely ill and Mutt must track him down and prevent the rise of the 4th Reich.
With Schriever now dead from natural causes, the PAPERCLIP members involved are guilty of high treason, But only one can offer the location of Kammler. Undercover FBI agent Brett Favre has spotted him in Argentina.
After Mutt, Favre and other agents trap Kammler and a small crew mining uranium in the Mendoza Province, Indiana gains his health back and is able to see Kammler brought back to the United States for trial.
Two Years later, with NASA’s sudden advancements of Saturn V, a man on the moon and von Braun highly responsible for it, Indiana hears about the mysterious hit and run death of his friend John Murphy. With the whereabouts of the Die Glocke unknown, Indiana can’t help but think, “This isn’t over.”

I like this a great deal if Indiana is dealt with tactfully. You also have to raise Mutt to be in a position to be a hero. He doesn't have to be Doctor Jones but he can't be ' "that kid" in the other movie. Literally set up the passing of lucky occurrences to Mutt and Indy's decline and soon passing, I think.
I just updated the newest revision like 1 minute ago.

I remember the Kecksburg UFO Case. As I recall it's never been explained. It' like Rendelsham Forest in England are two very good examples of modern UFO "Coverups ". Fox Mulder, anyone????
William, Fox & Mulder were looking for extraterrestrial phenomena in Kecksburg ...when the UFO crashed on them. And it wasn't the Nazis from the dark side of the moon.... Would be cool to read this screenplay!
