James Hicks

I’m originally from Harlem, New York but my wife and I moved here about 5 years ago. We came to build a new life for each other and so I can pursue my dream of being in the film industry.

I have been writing since I was 13. I started with music and even put together a music album in 2011. I wrote my first screen plays at 15. My first Screenplay was called Camp Jericho which I will revisit. At that age I also created Seraph the Guardian Angel which is my first professional screenplay some 20 years later. At first it was a novel and now I have adapted it for film.

I have a wild, creative imagination and my favorite genres are Fantasy/Action and Adventure. I have many more stories that I will adapt for Feature Films but I even have ideas for TV series as well.

As a creative it is time that I put my imagination and daydreams to good use. I am hardworking, teachable, eager and I get along with everyone that I can. I love to write and if I’m not creating then I’m wasting my life.. Working in the Film industry is my plan A-Z.

Some of my favorite movies are The Matrix, The Shape of Water, 50 First Dates, Hitch, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Avatar, Leon the Professional (The French Version), The Fifth Element, Terminator 2 and Avengers: Infinity War.

I love exciting movies and those are the kind of stories I wish to create. I would love to work as a Script Reader to take a load off of your immense schedule.
