Eric Andresen is the owner of Gypsy Productions where he creates narrative content, commercials, and corporate videos for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies.
Eric has been involved in film making from a young age, starting out in the 1970’s on his father’s Super 8 camera. His passion early on was cinematography and he studied under Andrew Jackson ASC (Rockford Files, Columbo, M.A.S.H et al) where he discovered his love for episodic television.
He traveled the world while enlisted in the Navy. He has worked as an over-the-road truck driver, a welder, an iron worker, a boiler maker, and a power plant operator while continuing to chase his dream of becoming a show runner.
Eric has progressed naturally, shooting on 8mm, 16mm and 35mm film and currently owns his own cinema cameras and lenses and he continues to pursue his dream.
Over the past several years he decided to write his own scripts that focus on episodic television. Eric chose to create a story line based on his father’s experiences in the CIA that were laced with espionage, action, and fascinating characters.
