SYNOPSIS:
When the head of CBS television programming is murdered by his wife, the board forces president Ken Shultz to appoint his nemesis, Broderick Atwater, and the company will never be the same. Broderick is a television genius set to plunder ABC/NBC in ratings and ad revs, moreover, topple Ken Shultz.
Meanwhile, the vivacious network doctor, Patricia Miller, whose black bag of 'happiness' keep stars pepped, begins hosting LSD parties with a CIA agent, while the young intern, Tiffany Campbell attempts suicide by leaping off the Hollywood sign.
This 1960s series is a sleekly dark dramatic story highlighting the cutthroat world of network television during the golden era where the race for numbers and eyes involved sex, manipulation and, murder.
