SYNOPSIS:

On the eve of the 1990’s grunge explosion in Seattle, Mikayla, a pissed off and headstrong eighteen-year-old, desperately tries to get her band noticed in the crowded music scene.

Expelled from high school for her punkish antics, she’s forced to work for her father’s new small business. Stoned and negligent, she causes an expensive accident that unintentionally invents a revolutionary product, attracting a famous 80’s sitcom actor to invest.

Her modest family’s world changes overnight and the new expectations for Mikayla to grow up and help run this new venture only fuel her desire to rebel, pursue music, and indulge in the rock n’ roll lifestyle.
