About Eric

Ayala has just completed work on his latest manuscript entitled ...if i should die before i wake. The screenplay is based on his book by the same title. The movie is now in pre-production.

In 2011 Ayala penned the screenplay for the movie Sunday Morning Rapture. In 2013 the film took 4th place at the International Christian Film Festival. Later that same year the film won BEST FEATURE at the Capital City Black Film Festival in Austin, Texas.

Eric Ayala has authored 10 novels. Four under the genre "Inspirational fiction"; Restoration, Will You Be Made Whole, Alabaster Box...Two Women One Struggle, and the aforementioned ...if i should die before i wake. His novels Arlington Heights and Darkness in the Mirror were published under the pseudonym Erica Lewis in the "women's fiction" genre. Under the "street lit" genre The Mansion, Retribution, Outcast and Avenging Alex were published using the pseudonym Lewis Ericson.

He has written and directed 3 stage plays; The Women, Will You Be Made Whole. Restoration; and has directed the works of others.

Over the years this multi-faceted talent has appeared in stage performances of The Music Man, Dreamgirls, and Pacific Overtures; as well as the operas Porgy and Bess, Don Giovanni, Il Trovatore, and Lucia Di Lammermoor.

Unique traits: He's a chameleon.
