A group of high-school bullies try everything to wipe the smile off the school stinky kid, when they all find themselves abducted by a mysterious stalker and taken to an alternate dimension. They are forced to team up with their new, strange superpowers to save humanity from an underwater alien invasion.  

SYNOPSIS:

It’s a wonder how high school freshman, Melvin Azhoul, can remain so compassionately optimistic after his recently deceased mother left him to be raised by his abusive grandmother in a town where he is hated by everyone.

Alwace High is full of student cliques bickering over petty differences. Melvin, only wanting everyone to get along, tries using empathy and logic to bring people together. They come together alright, briefly, only when they find mutual disdain for Melvin, the school stinky kid.

You’ll find no discrimination from the school bullies, though. For them, you’re either cool or you’re not. For Melvin, this is true diversity and hanging with the “cool kids” is a dream come true. If he was that cool, he could use his popularity to help end hatred amongst school cliques. But when the dork keeps smiling as the bullies try everything to break his spirit, escalation leads to his death. Or does it?

Melvin has seemingly risen from the dead. Good news for the bullies, right? Avoiding a murder charge and all. Well, they may not like the new Melvin when he realizes the injustice of his treatment. Not only is he really pissed off, he also appears to have gained real superpowers, but how? Was it the strange stalker seen spying on Melvin and the boys? That same creep did sneak into the hospital and inject Melvin’s IV with a mysterious substance. Or could it really be the diaper he wore to school after his grandma said it would give him superpowers?

Sheriff Ray Cist Hicks tries to unravel the mysteries. His priority of stoking the culture war with online trolling and police brutality becomes second when, during a fishing trip, he hooks a humanoid sea creature that escapes by jumping through some kind of portal after nearly capsizing his ocean trawler. With sightings of superpowered teens, aliens, portals and a trail of bodies, his town is turning upside down! Do all these events connect somehow?

Thus, begins the tale of how a clueless, quirky teen becomes the most unlikely superhero ever.
