GENRE: Drama, Comedy
LOGLINE:

Mica Roman used to be a rock star, but now she's an aging and cynical one-hit-wonder who finds herself broke, homeless, and on probation in her old hometown where she must confront the wreckage of her past and a group of spunky senior citizens to find forgiveness and reconnect with her love of music.

SYNOPSIS:

Mica Roman rode the wave of her MTV breakout hit "Believer" for the last 35 years, but now she's bitter, bewildered, and broken by the music industry she once dominated.

While playing the final show of a lackluster tour in her old hometown, a place she has avoided for more than thirty years, she loses her cool and attacks a drunken, belligerent fan, landing her in jail.

To make matters worse, her manager quits and for the first time in a long time, Mica is left alone to suffer the fallout of her destructive behavior.

Charged with assault and sentenced by a judge to three months of mandatory community service in a state-run senior home, Mica finds herself stuck in a town she doesn't want to be in to deal with people and places from her past she'd hoped to never see again. But what Mica doesn't realize is that those people and places may be just what she needs to turn her chaotic life around and bring her the forgiveness she's been seeking.
