By J. S. Parker

GENRE: Thriller, Horror
LOGLINE:

Following two brutal years of confinement and torture in Bedlam's asylum for the insane, "Ripper" suspect Jack Thorne has escaped his cell and has fled to Victorian era Gotham City.

SYNOPSIS:

Short Synopsis:

Hopelessly locked up in a special ward for the dangerously insane at Bethlem Royal, for two years since being arrested in Whitechapel-1888, “Ripper “suspect Jack Thorne has wallowed in misery at the hands of his sadistic warden Dr. Jonah Goethe.

Experimented on and tortured, his former existence as a wealthy world traveler now pales in contrast to his stink ridden, infested cell.

For endless days and nights he wallows in misery as he tries to control his fractured mind. A fortuitous event, he is visited by the infamous Dr. Sigmund Freud himself, and when taken into his custody, he is released unto the world. Jack then flees to Victorian era Gotham City, and upon his arrival, a new string of “Ripper style” murders commence. Ones an often blacking out Jack will have no earthly knowledge of.

Back in his homeland, a rookie British cop is put on the now cold case…the very one stemming from the “canonical five” butcherings in Whitechapel in the year 1888- two years prior. Soon the young detective teams up with a beautiful American journalist and psychology student who is working abroad, and upon the news of the new murders in Gotham, they set out to catch the Ripper’s trail.

Ultimately, within the expanse of his new theater of seedy Gotham City, he must face his many demons as he races against time to prove his innocence…or find his hidden truths more sinister than

they seem.
