Three friends have a duel-to-the-death against poverty to ensure they make money by every means possible.
SYNOPSIS:
In the trying times of armed officers known as the Federal Sars, who constantly embarrass
and parade every young person in the nation as an online fraudster, then force
discomforting amount of money off their accounts as bail.
Having gone on several interviews for more than a year and getting the same negative reply,
Dammy; a first class graduate is now faced with the reality of having connections before
landing a great paying job. With his Landlord at his neck about his unpaid rent and his father
constantly reminding him of his “perfect image” in the village as the only graduate, and to
top it all Sars officers parading him as a yahoo boy and taking his rent off him as bail. He
gives in to his friends’ advice to learn their “hustle” called YAHOO.
It didn’t take much time for him to make his first hit after learning how to scam (beguile)
people of their money. No sooner had he learnt how to scam people of their money did he
become the leader of the group, bringing in better ideas on how to get larger amounts
which in fact paid off hugely.
First, they (Dammy, Faruq and Godwin) created a fake foundation for the less privileged
child with disabilities that could be fixed with a large amount of money, which got a “client”,
hooked enough to pay a whooping sum of a million dollars. Dammy buys his first car, house
and built a hotel from the money.
Everything was going green until it became sour, and now they had to do something fast to
maintain their perceived lifestyle. So they visited an herbalist, who happens to be Dammy’s
ex-landlord for charms that could help bring better paying clients, in return for this charms
to work they paid a price costing them not being able to father a child. That was not the
case for Dammy, as his girlfriend, Aisha; an EFCC officer was already pregnant for him.
Their said “last scam” was quite elaborate. It was worth forty million dollars, the entire life
savings of a said Mr Bashir, who happens to be the just reconnected father of Aisha;
Dammy’s girlfriend. Dammy, Faruq and Godwin had created a fake website for an
investment company, then turned Dammy’s hotel into an office upon the request of the
client wanting to meet face-to-face to discuss business before making a transfer of funds.
The scam of 40million dollars was successful with the help of Dammy’s unknowing father,
who had taken Mr Bashir to lunch and discussed how he sponsored his son through school
using money he got off farm produce, which Mr Bashir later “invested into”.
Mr Bashir is rushed to an hospital some weeks after he discovers he had been scammed,
then later dies of an heart attack while pointing at the picture his Daughter, Aisha was
showing him of her expecting baby father; Dammy.
Aisha gets triggered by this and on one night decides to dig into Dammy’s laptop to find
incriminating files that could be used in arresting him and his two friends, she does find,
then she sends it to her boss as evidence.
On the day of trial, Gladys; an old friend of Dammy, represents the 3 friends. Before the trial
she hires some thugs to kidnap the judge’s family so the case could go in her favour, which
eventually did.
Now, Aisha is caught up between loving her boyfriend; the father of her unborn child, and
taking revenge on her father’s killer. Seeing as they are the same person, Aisha takes
matters into her hands and shoots Dammy dead.
