GENRE: Thriller, Horror
LOGLINE:

An attack obliterates America, an engineer is killed. He is killed, but doesn’t die! A pandemic appears, there is no longer daylight on earth. Darkness is his only friend.

SYNOPSIS:

An attack obliterates America and the power of the explosion initiates a cosmic black out of the earth. Across the globe an engineer is killed by the collapse of a submerged railway tunnel that he had constructed. He is killed! BUT DOES NOT DIE. A deadly virus envelopes the earth, and the new norm in the Cabaret of life, is role-playing in perpetual darkness.

The engineer finds himself in a transparent abyss searching for his intellect and a human space to fill. Immersed in the soulless world of the walking dead, he by default becomes an advertising executive in a small village, the same village where he was killed, a 100 years ago. His path merges with a beautiful, though dubious special effects and pyrotechnic’s lady who carries with her a horrific secret about her macabre penchant for bloodletting. The engineer trapped in unrelenting darkness, holds vivid images of horror and violence as a young boy under the rule of his demented alcoholic mother. He is constantly stalked and by default falls prey to scientific manipulation. One night his worst fear is realized. He is drugged as part of a sidewalk procedure on a pathway outside his cabin. With military precision articulate invasive surgery was performed, within minutes a microchip is inserted into the base of his brain, robbing him of control over his decisions and emotions. The resulting terror and the incessant feeling of weightlessness and pain of the attack, is intense, the outcome being a weakening of his immunity and self esteem. Submerged in futility, he is forced into revenge, with darkness being his only friend!
