When a serial killer's victim is relieved to be on the chopping block, his bloodlust quickly diminishes, but the victim has a death wish, so it's up to him to inspire the killer to do what he does best.
SYNOPSIS:
Reese awakens to a threatening knife in front of his eyes, only to find himself restrained to a chair as the next victim in a serial killer’s twisted game. Still, he can’t hide his excitement to be on the chopping block following a series of depressing personal defeats. Reese’s enthusiasm quickly rips the bloodlust from the Saginaw Slayer, a B-rate killer whose news-given designation eats away at his already fragile ego, feeding anxiety and insecurities. Seeing that the Slayer is working through his own deep emotional traumas, Reese tells him to take a seat, leading to a grim therapy session where he attempts to talk his way to the grave by inspiring the killer to do what he does best. However, as the layers peel away, Reese finds that his current circumstances may be more linked to the Slayer than he realized, forcing him to question his death wish as the killer rediscovers the love of the game.
