Megan, a new police recruit’s life is reordered as she is radically entangled in a serial killer investigation.
SYNOPSIS:
Megan, a young lesbian with a tortured and haunted past and also an undercover cop is seeking a serial killer who is stalking their prey in Urbex Environments. She meets Jacqui, a victim of sexual and physical abuse from men, in a local pub.
In the darkness and desolation of ruined and abandoned buildings where Urbex warriors engage in their passions, anything can happen……and both women must watch their backs against the people around them, some of whom inhabit unexpected places in society, not altogether legal.
Megan over time falls in love with Jacqui despite having suspicions that she may well be the serial killer she is seeking. This fact raises conflicts within Megan’s psyche which she tries to resolve with the help of her grandmother, a powerful woman who has the means to make almost anything happen.
Who is going to face the music for these murders and is there only one murderer at large?
The Urbex community, so often a secretive one, is drawn into the light as Megan charges forward to solve the case and deal with her mixed emotions.

This logline gives a very broad view of the premise, however I would advise you to try and develop this further and add more specific elements to make it stand out. Remember: this logline needs to pique the interests of the powers-that-be; it's a written elevator pitch. Currently, this logline doesn't give us enough information,; the way it's written makes the story feel too similar to endless other serial killer/police procedural stories. Ask yourself what the USP of this story is and make sure you're revealing this through the logline. Try and communicate what the central dramatic question of the tale is here. Get away from the ambiguity of such things as "reordered" (how?) "radically entangled" (how?) What's unique about this serial killer or the relationship this new recruit has to him/her? Push this. Also: I would lose the name of the recruit. It's redundant. It adds nothing.
Do let me know if you'd like more help with this. Feel free to message me.
